Tire Shop for Galt Drivers in Cambridge

Galt is the historic core of Cambridge, with downtown streets along the Grand River, steep hills toward the river and older neighbourhoods with tight parking. Those hills and narrow streets are where good tires show their value — especially on a freezing morning heading down toward Water Street.

SVS Tires & Wheels is a family-run tire and wheel shop at 990 Bishop St N in north Cambridge. Galt drivers usually reach us via Hespeler Road or Franklin Boulevard.

Tires for hills and city streets

For Galt's grades and stop-and-go downtown traffic, braking grip matters most. In winter, an ice-focused studless winter tire is a strong choice; the rest of the year, a quality all-season with good wet grip handles rain on the river roads. See Tires and Winter Tires.

Older homes, less storage space

Many Galt homes have small garages or none at all. Our tire storage is $80 per season, so your off-season set is out of the way and ready for the next swap.

Installation and balancing

Installation is $25 per tire for cars, SUVs and vans and $30 per tire for trucks, plus a $6 eco fee per tire and taxes. We mount on a touchless machine, balance with Road Force equipment, and service TPMS sensors. Matched sets are on Wheel & Tire Packages.
