How Tire Storage Works with Your Seasonal Swap
Timing plays a big role in getting the most out of your winter tires. A good rule of thumb is to install them once temperatures consistently fall below 7°C, and to switch back to your all-season or summer tires once temperatures rise again in the spring. When you book your seasonal tire swap, ask about storage. We put on the tires for the season ahead, and your off-season set can stay with us at our Cambridge shop instead of going back home with you.
Running two separate sets also reduces wear on both, which helps each set last longer. With proper care, winter tires can typically last 3 to 5 winter seasons, depending on how and how much you drive.
